What customers said after the visit

Rated 4.5 out of 5 across 72 customer reviews. The 24 below are the most recent for each repair we publish.

How to read these

Each entry is one visit: what had failed, what was measured, what was changed and how the call ended. They are printed as they were given to us, first name and last initial only, and nothing has been trimmed to make a visit look tidier than it was.

The 24 printed here are the three most recent for every repair this site publishes, so each job is represented rather than whichever fault happened to be busy this season. The rest of the 72 sit on the page for the repair they describe and the place they came from, which is where anyone chasing that particular fault is already looking. The average and the breakdown below are taken from all 72, not from this page.

A wall of nothing but top marks would tell a reader nothing. Several of the entries below describe a part that arrived wrong, a fault that came back or a second trip out. Those are the honest cost of this work and they stay on the page.

No figure appears in any of them. What a job costs is set out on the pricing page, where it can be held against the invoice, and what happens after the repair is on the warranty page. If one of these describes the fault on your own appliance, the page for that repair sets out how it gets narrowed down.

The most recent visit for each repair

  • The upper cavity read the set point but browned as though it were cooler. He put a probe in, showed me it was running well under the display, and changed the sensor rather than the element I had assumed was gone.

    Rosalind E.September 2026

  • A cup of grey water left in the sump after every programme. He took the sump apart, lifted out a shard of glass wedged against the impeller, and put it back together without needing a single component.

    Millicent V.September 2026

  • Ours would grind, tamp and then sit there with the water light on. The inlet valve had stuck part open and was bleeding pressure back into the tank. He swapped it and stayed while we pulled two cups.

    Perpetua D.September 2026

  • One burner lit at the back of the crown and nowhere else, so the pan heated on one side. He lifted the cap, found the ports part blocked by boil-over, cleared them and reseated it square. It has lit evenly since.

    Clementine D.September 2026

  • The machine reported no water with the tank full and brimming. He showed me the float arm was catching on a hairline crack in the housing and sitting low. A new housing, and the tank reads properly again.

    Sylvester Q.September 2026

  • The steam function ran its whole cycle with nothing in the cavity but hot air. He checked the tank seat first, then the pump, and found the outlet limed almost shut. Descaled properly and ran it twice before packing up.

    Barnaby F.September 2026

  • Water standing in the bottom after every cycle. He pulled the filter, found the drain hose kinked where the cabinet had been pushed back, and rerouted it with a proper loop. It has emptied cleanly every run since.

    Harriet G.September 2026

  • Clicking with no flame on the large burner. The spark electrode had cracked at the ceramic and was arcing to the pan support instead of the gas. He replaced it, though I waited on the part longer than I expected to.

    Ignatius O.August 2026

  • Temperature wandered by several degrees through the day and the alarm went off overnight. He found the door gasket lifting at the hinge side and fitted a new one. Better, though I had to chase the appointment.

    Horatio B.August 2026

  • Upper shelves were sitting far warmer than the drawers below them. He traced it to the air baffle, knocked out of position when the crisper went back in, so nothing was reaching the top. No part needed.

    Octavia R.August 2026

  • A zone would beep and shut down partway through cooking. He lifted the cooktop and found the underside ventilation choked where the cabinet had been lined with shelf paper. Clearing it stopped the shutdowns.

    Sondra I.August 2026

  • Our coffee system ground the beans, heated up and then announced it had no water with a full tank. He found the reservoir was not seating fully on its valve because a chip of plastic had lodged in the housing.

    Lorraine P.August 2026

  • Roasts were taking half as long again as they used to. The bake element measured fine, so he looked at the door and found the inner seal crushed flat along one side. New seal and the oven holds heat properly.

    Barrington S.August 2026

  • The hood roared and cleared nothing. He measured the flow, then went into the cabinet above and found the flexible run crushed behind a joist. He straightened what he could and told me honestly what doing it properly would take.

    Georgina T.August 2026

  • Our column crept to the high forties while the freezer alongside stayed cold. He measured airflow at the vent, found the evaporator fan stalling once warm, and had it changed before he left the house.

    Charmaine B.August 2026

  • No steam at all, though the oven heated normally. He found the generator element crusted over and cleaned the collar by hand, explaining that a chemical cycle cannot reach it. It steams from the start again now.

    Winifred K.August 2026

  • Water stood in the tub at the end of every cycle. He checked the air gap on the counter before he touched the machine and found it packed solid. Cleared it, and the tub has emptied properly every run since.

    Annette S.August 2026

  • It stopped steaming and he traced it to the level sensor. The first part he fitted behaved no better and he had to come back with another. Sorted in the end, but two trips for one fault is still two trips.

    Priscilla V.August 2026

  • The hood roared at full speed and still left smoke hanging over the island. He measured at the canopy and at the roof cap and showed me the duct run is undersized. Cleaning bought some improvement, not a cure.

    Roberta J.August 2026

  • The front burner clicked away without ever catching. He lifted the cap and found it sitting a few millimetres off its locating ring, so the spark was jumping to the wrong place. Reseated it and it lit at once.

    Herschel M.August 2026

  • One zone would run for a minute then beep and quit. He put a straight edge across the pan base and showed me it had warped just enough to lose contact. A different pan and the zone behaved perfectly.

    Drusilla M.August 2026

  • The cooktop would not see two of our pans at all. He tested each one with a magnet on the bench and showed me the bases had warped enough to lift off the glass. Nothing wrong with the appliance, and he charged accordingly.

    Curtis Z.August 2026

  • Preheat crawled and then gave up short of the dial. He found the bake element open at one end and fitted a new one on the return visit. Tidy work, and he put the racks back the way I had them.

    Fitzgerald M.July 2026

  • The blower sounded busy but the kitchen still smelled of the pan an hour later. He showed me the baffle filters were choked solid and the makeup air path was shut. Cleaning them helped more than I expected.

    Ezekiel F.July 2026

What happens after a visit like these?

What happens if the same fault comes back?
The repair carries 90 days on labor and 365 days on the parts we supply. Genuine OEM parts. If the same fault returns inside that window the return visit is not a second diagnostic.
Are you part of Thermador service?
No, and the footer of every page says so in full. This is an independent workshop that chose one manufacturer and fits genuine OEM parts. Nobody appointed us to it, and the price on this page is ours rather than a published schedule.
How do I book, and when are you working?
Two ways and no third: the telephone, (904) 478-8963, or the booking link, which is hosted at nexfield.pro. No form lives on these pages, and no email address either. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am – 4:00pm. Closed Sunday. Scheduled appointments only.
