What it costs

One diagnostic fee, credited if you go ahead. Nothing else happens until you have the number in writing.

Diagnostic

$80 flat

Credited toward the repair if you go ahead.

What gets quoted is what is behind the panel, once it is open.

What does each Thermador repair band cost?

$80 covers the diagnosis, and it is taken off the total if you decide to go ahead. Past that the figure is set by which component has actually failed, and the rows below are where this work has been settling. Nobody here quotes one number before the panel is off.

Every band this workshop quotes from, parts and labor together.
What has failed Parts and labor
Diagnostic visit $80 flat
Igniter, spark module or surface element $210–$490
Oven thermostat or temperature sensor $180–$560
Bake or broil element $210–$580
Convection fan or motor $260–$670
Control board or touch panel $440–$1,010
Door hinge, glass or seal $180–$680
Refrigeration column sealed system $920–$2,400

When is replacing it the cheaper answer?

A comparable Thermador wall oven, rangetop or column, appliance only — before delivery, installation or cabinetry. National appliance pricing, not Florida labour.

The equivalent new appliance, so the repair-or-replace arithmetic sits here rather than being left implied.
New appliance Appliance only
Wall oven, the usual repair-or-replace comparison $4,200–$9,500
Professional rangetop or range $5,500–$14,500

Ranges, not quotes. The width of a band is mostly access: a component reached from the front is one job, and the same component behind an appliance that has to come out of its opening is quite another.

How a job runs

The $80 covers the visit and the fault-finding: confirming what has actually failed rather than replacing parts until the symptom goes away. If you approve the repair, that fee comes off the total.

Written estimate before any work begins. It lists the parts, the labor and the total before anything is ordered or opened. Parts are genuine OEM — on a built-in Thermador appliance that is what keeps a parts warranty worth having.

Warranty

90 days on labor, 365 days on the parts we supply.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm

What is and is not included?

What will this repair cost?
$80 flat to diagnose it, credited toward the repair. On a built-in the common repairs run $180–$560, and refrigeration column sealed system is the band with the widest spread at $920–$2,400. Which one you are in is settled on the visit, in writing, before anything is ordered.
How much do appliance repair technicians charge per hour?
Nothing per hour here. A flat $80 diagnostic covers the visit and the whole fault-finding sequence, credited to the repair if you go ahead, and the work itself is quoted as one figure from the band the confirmed fault sits in. A slow job and a quick one in the same band cost the same.
What is the most expensive part to replace?
The refrigeration column sealed system at $920–$2,400, and on refrigeration that work also needs EPA Section 608 handling. Behind it comes the control board or touch panel at $440–$1,010, the row that can turn up on almost any appliance in the kitchen. Everything else in the table sits below both.
What happens if the same fault comes back?
The repair carries 90 days on labor and 365 days on the parts we supply. Genuine OEM parts. If the same fault returns inside that window the return visit is not a second diagnostic.
Are you part of Thermador service?
No, and the footer of every page says so in full. This is an independent workshop that chose one manufacturer and fits genuine OEM parts. Nobody appointed us to it, and the price on this page is ours rather than a published schedule.
